About SSAB (SSABB)
SSAB AB engages in producing steel and construction solutions. It operates through the following five segments: SSAB Special Steels, SSAB Europe, SSAB Americas, Tibnor and Ruukki Construction. The SSAB Special Steels segment market and sell quenched and tempered steels and hot rolled. The SSAB Europe segment focuses in the strip, plate, and tubular products. The SSAB Americas segment involves in the production of heavy plate in North America, and for steel and plate in Montpelier and Mobile, USA. The Tibnor segment distributes steel and non-ferrous metals in the Nordic region and Baltics. The Ruukki Construction consists of sales and production of energy-efficient building and construction solutions, with a focus on Northern and Eastern Europe. The company was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
