About Nano (XNO)

XNO is built for speed. The coin formerly known as XRB launched way back in 2014 with the goal of facilitating secure, near instant payments, without fees. The coin was renamed Nano in 2018 to reflect its speed and simplicity. Interestingly, Nano doesn’t use a proof-of-work network to reach consensus, instead it uses an Open Representative Voting (ORV) system. In this process, account holders vote for a chosen representative to securely confirm blocks of transactions. A major positive of this is that it makes XNO very energy efficient, making it a greener option for investors.
