Liquity, is a decentralised borrowing protocol operating on Ethereum, that utilises LQTY, a stablecoin pegged to the USD. Ether holders can obtain loans in the form of LQTY, benefiting from algorithmically adjusted redemption and loan issuance fees. With Liquity, borrowers can access 0% interest loans backed by Ether used as collateral. The loans are disbursed in LUSD, a USD-pegged stablecoin, requiring only a minimum collateral ratio of 110%. Additionally, the loans are secured by a stability pool containing LUSD, and fellow borrowers act as collective guarantors of last resort.
