Check the licence. Look up the provider in the ESMA register of MiCA-authorised crypto-asset service providers, or in your national regulator’s register.
Know the full costs. Compare trading fees, spreads, and deposit, withdrawal and network fees, not just the headline trading rate.
Match the network and address. Use the same network on both sides, copy any memo or tag, and send a small test amount first.
Secure your account. Turn on two-factor authentication, use a unique password, and give API keys only the permissions you need. Never share your password, 2FA codes or API secrets with anyone.
Think about tax. Selling or converting crypto before you move it may be a taxable event, depending on where you live. If you’re unsure, check with a tax advisor.
If you trade actively, Bitpanda Fusion offers advanced order types, API access and degressive fees from 0.25% down to 0.02%, based on your 30-day trading volume. Spreads and other costs may apply.
