No, portfolio points are uncapped throughout the 14-day campaign. Each task can only be activated once.

How are the total points calculated?

We calculate your points separately for each eligible product category, then add them together. Selling won’t reduce the points you’ve already earned. Within the same product category, you’ll earn additional points only when your net buy volume exceeds its previous highest level. Do I need to make money to win?

No. Profit and loss won’t affect your ranking and are never displayed.

Can other people see what I hold?

No. The leaderboard only shows aliases and total point total for the top 20, #50 and #100 participants as benchmarks. Nothing else.

“Summer Portfolio Challenge” 1. The point distribution in more detail Each EUR 1 of Eligible Net Buy Volume earns one (1) Point. Participants may transact in supported currencies or assets; however, points are calculated in euro using the euro value of each eligible transaction at the time it is executed. Fractional Points are aggregated across all eligible transactions and asset classes and rounded up only once to the nearest whole Point. “Eligible Net Buy Volume” is calculated separately for each Eligible Product Category based on eligible purchases during the Promotion Period. For each category, only the highest Eligible Net Buy Volume reached during the Promotion Period counts towards the Participant’s Points. Points from all Eligible Product Categories are then added together. Points already earned will not be reduced. Further purchases within the same Eligible Product Category earn additional Points only if they result in a new highest Eligible Net Buy Volume for that category. Also, subsequent changes in the market value of an Eligible Asset do not affect the Points earned. Depositing or transferring assets to Bitpanda does not earn Points. Transactions made using Bitpanda Swap count towards the relevant Eligible Product Categories. The asset received is allocated to its Eligible Product Category, while the asset exchanged is taken into account when calculating Eligible Net Buy Volume in its category. For Bitpanda Earn, which includes Earn through Staking and Earn on Stablecoins, Points are calculated based on the highest net amount allocated during the Promotion Period. Removing assets from Bitpanda Earn does not reduce Points already earned. Reallocating assets earns additional Points only if it results in a new highest net amount allocated. Earn through Staking lets you earn rewards from supported Proof-of-Stake networks by delegating your crypto-assets via Bitpanda. Earn on Stablecoins allows you to lend your stablecoins (USDC or EURCV) to Bitpanda under a loan agreement and receive yield in return. Points from Eligible Net Buy Volume and eligible net amounts allocated to Bitpanda Earn are uncapped. Cancelled, failed, reversed or refunded transactions do not earn Points. In addition to Points earned from Eligible Net Buy Volume and and eligible net amounts allocated to Bitpanda Earn, Participants may earn up to 50,000 extra Points by completing the following nine (9) tasks (each a "Task"). Each Task may be completed once per Participant and is subject to the requirements set out in these Terms: Task 1 – Savings Plan (10,000 Points): Complete an execution on a new Savings Plan order of at least €50 during the campaign.Task 2 – Stocks, ETFs (5,000 Points): Complete a stock or ETF buy order of at least EUR 100.Task 3 – Metals (5,000 Points): Complete a buy order of at least EUR 50 in gold, silver, platinum, or palladium.Task 4 – Bitpada Earn (5,000 Points): Allocate at least EUR 100 to Bitpanda Earn during the campaign (Passive Earn excluded).Task 5 – Fusion (5,000 Points): Complete a Fusion buy order of at least EUR 100.Task 6 – API or MCP (5,000 Points): Complete a programmatic buy order of at least EUR 50 via API or MCP.Task 7 – Bitpanda Card (5,000 Points): Complete a Bitpanda Card payment of at least EUR 25.Task 8 – Crypto (5,000 Points): Complete a cryptocurrency buy order of at least EUR 50 (EURCV and BCI are excluded).Task 9 – VSN (5,000 Points): Buy and stake at least EUR 100 of VSN during the campaign. Example: Crypto price increase You have 100 Crypto points, Your €100 worth of crypto asset A increases in value to €150, You receive zero additional points because price changes do not affect your score, You end up with 100 points. Example: Selling crypto You have 100 Crypto points, You sell your €100 worth of crypto asset A, You keep the points you have already earned, You end up with 100 points. Example: Buying crypto, Selling and buying stocks You have zero points, You buy 100€ worth of crypto asset A, You receive 100 points within the crypto asset class, You receive +5,000 points for first crypto purchase, You sell 100€ worth of crypto asset A, You buy 100€ worth of Stock A, You receive 100 more points within the stock asset class, You receive +5,000 points for first stocks purchase, You end up with 10,200 points. Example: Buying again within the same product You have 100 Crypto points, You sell €100 worth of crypto and buy €100 worth of crypto again, You receive zero additional points because you have not reached a new high, You end up with 100 Crypto points. Example: Transferring crypto to Bitpanda You have zero points, You transfer €100 worth of crypto to Bitpanda, You receive zero points because a transfer is not a purchase, You sell the transferred crypto and buy €100 worth of crypto, You receive zero points because your purchase does not exceed the amount sold, You end up with zero points. Rewards, Winner Selection and Notification The total prize pool for the Promotion amounts to €50,000. After the Promotion Period has ended, thirty-one (31) Participants, who, during the Promotion Period, (i) meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 3 and (ii) were not, for whatever reason, disqualified by Bitpanda, will be selected to get a Reward (“Reward” collectively “Rewards”) based on total points during the campaign period, and with the criteria set out below. Ranked Rewards (Positions 1–10) The following Rewards will be awarded to the ten (10) Participants with the highest total points during the Promotion Period, as determined by final ranking on the public leaderboard. For the avoidance of doubt, there will be a maximum of thirty-one (31) Winners in this Promotion. No substitution or cash equivalent of the Reward, or any portion thereof, is permitted. Only Bitpanda Clients who (i) meet all the requirements described in section 3 and (ii) were not, for whatever reason, disqualified by Bitpanda in accordance with section 5 are eligible. Bitpanda will strive to transfer the Reward to the respective Participants two weeks after the Promotion Period ends. The transfer may be delayed and Bitpanda shall not be liable for any losses arising out of or in connection with a late transfer. Bitpanda reserves the right to substitute a Reward, or any part thereof, with an item of equal or greater value if there are objective reasons to do so. The Reward will be credited directly via e-money to the Participants’ respective Bitpanda Broker wallet. Participants, who are declared Winners in accordance with this section will be notified accordingly via email to the email address they have stated in their Bitpanda Client Account. Bitpanda assumes no responsibility for undeliverable emails. All potential Winners are subject to verification by Bitpanda. 5. Disqualification Bitpanda reserves the right to disqualify a Participant it suspects or finds (i) to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, (ii) to be acting in collusion with other Participants aimed at manipulating or disrupting the Promotion, (iii) to be acting in violation of these Terms, (iv) or in breach of any other applicable terms and conditions of Bitpanda, its subsidiaries, or (v) to have provided inaccurate information. Disqualified Participants will not be entitled to become a Winner or win any other Reward under this Promotion. Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion is a violation of laws, and should such an attempt be made, Bitpanda reserves the right to seek damages from any such Bitpanda Client or individual. Bitpanda is not responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and may disqualify a participant if the email address of the Bitpanda Client is not valid. 6. Bitpanda’s Liability To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Bitpanda be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising out of or in connection with the Promotion. Bitpanda reserves the right, without any prior notice or compensation to you, to suspend, cancel, postpone or modify the Promotion, at any time, for any reason whatsoever. You do not have any legal claim against Bitpanda arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. If, due to a technical, system, or human error, any assets, Rewards, or benefits are credited in error or in excess of the applicable Promotion, Bitpanda reserves the right to correct such error and reclaim, deduct, or reverse the affected assets. Affected Participants are not entitled to retain assets, Rewards or benefits granted in error. Bitpanda may take reasonable measures to resolve the issue. 7. Data Protection and Taxes All data processing at Bitpanda in relation to this Promotion is carried out on the basis of the contractual obligation and legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letters b and f of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) for the purpose of establishing the legal relationship with the participant and for the subsequent implementation and processing of the Promotion.
