“Bitcoin Raffle & Cashback”

1. General

The following Terms and Conditions (“TC”) govern the rules for participating in the “Bitcoin Raffle & Cashback” initiative (“Raffle & Cashback”) of Bitpanda GmbH, with its corporate seat in A-1020 Vienna, Stella-Klein-Löw Weg 17, registered with the Austrian Commercial Register under registration number FN 423018 k ("Bitpanda GmbH") and Bitpanda Asset Management GmbH, with its corporate seat at Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 36, 60325 Frankfurt a.M., Germany ("BAM") (collectively “Bitpanda”) and the relationship between Bitpanda and the Participant (as defined in clause 3 or “you”) arising thereof.

By participating in the Raffle  & Cashback, you confirm and accept these TC and the applicable Bitpanda Group TC and Bitpanda GmbH & BAM Terms and Conditions in its current versions as an integral part of these TC.

Please note that any translation of these TC into other languages shall be deemed as a point of reference and the English version shall prevail in any case.

This Raffle & Cashback does not constitute financial advice or an invitation to conclude a transaction. 

2. Raffle & Cashback Period 

This Raffle & Cashback starts on December 12th, 2022, 00:00 (CET) (“Start Date”) and ends on December 21st, 2022, 23:59 (CET) (“Closing Date”) (the time in between the “Raffle & Cashback Period”).

Bitpanda will in the course of the Raffle & Cashback: 

  • randomly choose 100 Participants (“Winners”) that will each receive EUR 100 worth of Bitcoin as a prize (“Prize”) for depositing at least EUR 100 worth of crypto assets or fiat money on Bitpanda during the Raffle & Cashback Period; and 
  • independently from the Prize credit EUR 5 worth in Bitcoin to the wallet of the Participant who buys EUR 100 worth of crypto assets on Bitpanda Broker during the Raffle & Cashback Period as cashback (“Cashback”). For the avoidance of doubt, transactions for crypto assets executed by way of Bitpanda Savings Plans (as defined in the Bitpanda GmbH & BAM Terms and Conditions) that were set up before the Start Date are excluded from the Cashback.

You acknowledge and accept that only Participants who (i) meet all the requirements described in clause 3 and (ii) were not, for whatever reason, disqualified by Bitpanda in accordance with clause 5 are eligible for the Raffle & Cashback.

3. Requirements for Participation 

Only fully verified and registered Bitpanda Clients that (a) accept these TC,  (b) have deposited at least EUR 100 worth of crypto assets or transferred fiat currency to top up their F-Token/E-Money wallet on Bitpanda Broker between December 12th, 2022, 00:00 (CET) and December 21st, 2022, 23:59 (CET) are eligible for participation (“Participants”)  in the Raffle & Cashback. 

Bitpanda may amend and/or call off the Raffle & Cashback as described herein at any time. 

4. Distribution of the Prize and Cashback

The Prize will be credited directly to the Winners’ respective wallets. Winners will be notified via the email address of their account. The Cashback will be credited directly to the Participants’ respective wallets. Participants will be notified via the email address of their account.

Bitpanda will strive to transfer the Prize to the Winners and the Cashback to the Participants within 21 days after the end of the Raffle & Competition Period. The EUR value of the Prize and Cashback is determined by the market value of Bitcoin according to the Bitcoin/EUR trading pair at the time of transfer to the Winners/Participants. The transfer may be delayed and Bitpanda shall not be liable for any losses arising out of or in connection with a late transfer (e.g. losses due to price changes).

5. Disqualification 

Bitpanda may disqualify a Participant from the Raffle & Cashback if there is (i) a breach of these TC, (ii) a breach of any other applicable terms and conditions of Bitpanda or (iii) if any data provided by you is incorrect.  

6. Data protection

Bitpanda collects your personal data on the basis of your consent in accordance with section 6 (1) lit. a General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and insofar as this is necessary for the establishment of the legal relationship with the Participant and for the subsequent implementation and handling of the Raffle & Cashback.
