“Bitpanda & Blockpit Licence Giveaway“


1. General

The following Terms (“Terms”) govern the rules for participating in the Bitpanda & Blockpit Licence Giveaway (“Giveaway”), in cooperation with Blockpit, the Bitpanda GmbH, with its corporate seat in Campus 2, Jakov-Lind-Straße 2, A-1020 Vienna, Campus 2, Jakov-Lind-Straße 2 (“Bitpanda”) and the legal relationship between Bitpanda and the Participant ("Participant").

By participating in the Competition you confirm and accept these Terms and the applicable terms and conditions of Bitpanda which are an integral part of these Terms.

2. Promotion period & Giveaway

This Giveaway begins on the 25th of November, 2020, at 00:00 am (UTC+2) and ends on the 16th of December, 2020, at 23:59 (UTC+2) (“Giveaway Period”).

Bitpanda will issue professional Blockpit licences to all Participants who are BEST VIP level 3 users as of the deadline of the 16th of December, 2020 (at 23:59:59). Bitpanda will also issue 200 professional Blockpit licences to randomly selected Participants who are BEST VIP level 2 users. In addition, Bitpanda will issue 50 professional Blockpit licences to Participants who are BEST VIP level 1 users using the same random selection method. The deadline for determining the BEST VIP level is the 16th of December, 2020 (at 23:59:59). In addition, Bitpanda will issue 10 professional Blockpit licences between the other Participants (regardless of their BEST VIP level) according to a random procedure.

The first 300 Participants who (i) register and verify a Bitpanda customer account for the first time and entirely via Bitpanda Pro during the Giveaway Period (i.e. exclusively new Bitpanda customers) and (ii) successfully complete at least one trade on Bitpanda Pro (only fully-completed and executed trades apply) will also receive a professional Blockpit licence. The creation and registration of a Bitpanda Pro Business account does not entitle you to participate in the Giveaway.

3. Communication, liability & disqualification

All Participants who have already received a Blockpit licence from Bitpanda through an earlier promotion are excluded from participating in this Giveaway and cannot be selected by Bitpanda to receive a Blockpit licence.

Participants who meet the above criteria and/or are randomly selected to receive a professional Blockpit licence will receive access to the respective Blockpit licence within 14 days after the end of the Giveaway Period via email to the email address provided on the Bitpanda account.

Participants acknowledge that Bitpanda may, at its sole discretion, change and/or cancel the Giveaway as described here at any time and there can be no legal claim against Bitpanda arising from or in connection with this Giveaway.

Blockpit licences for professional use are allocated by an internal procedure based on the principle of random selection. Participants have no right or claim against Bitpanda with regard to the conduct of this procedure or its results.

The Participants also acknowledge that Bitpanda cannot guarantee the scope of the Blockpit licences and their unlimited availability and that the use of the Blockpit licences may be severely limited or non-existent depending on the Participant's place of residence.

4. Disqualification

Participants acknowledge and agree that Bitpanda may, at its sole discretion, exclude a Participant from the Giveaway at any time for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to cases in which Bitpanda suspects possible illegal activity. Participants acknowledge and agree that any violation of these Terms or other Terms of Bitpanda and/or its subsidiaries may lead to disqualification.

Participants who are disqualified hereby acknowledge and agree that they have no claim against Bitpanda, including but not limited to direct or indirect losses incurred in connection with participation in the Giveaway.

5. Data protection

All data processing at Bitpanda is carried out in accordance with Article 6 Section 1 letter a of the General Data Protection Act (GDPR) and insofar as this is necessary for the establishment of the legal relationship with the participant and for the subsequent implementation and handling of the Giveaway.
